Hello! I am the Electronic Services Librarian for The Catholic University of America Libraries. Mostly, I am responsible for website development and maintenance -- which includes the University Libraries and University Archives websitesand library staff intranet. I also investigate emerging technology, help support library systems, provide reference assistance at the Information Desk in Mullen (perhaps you've seen me?), develop the computer science collection and teach a few library instruction sessions per semester.
In addition to my work as a librarian, I am also an Adjunct Professor for the School of Library and Information Science at CUA. I teach two technology related graduate courses: Database Management, and Systems Analysis.
I hold an M.S. in Library Science from The Catholic University of America and a B.A. from California State University, Fresno. My professional interests include: web services, digital librarianship, open source software and the implementation of emerging technologies in libraries.
