Jonathan M. Smith, Librarian

Hello! I am the Electronic Services Librarian for The Catholic University of America Libraries. Mostly, I am responsible for website development and maintenance -- which includes the University Library websites and library staff intranet. I also help support library systems as well as provide reference assistance at the Information Desk in Mullen (perhaps you've seen me?) and teach a few library instruction sessions per semester.

I hold an M.S. in Library Science from The Catholic University of America and a B.A. from California State University, Fresno. I am the current Chair of the WRLC Digital Library Technology Advisory Committee. My professional interests include: web services, digital librarianship, user interface design, the "next-generation catalog", and open source software.
