This picture was taken from the east part of Mount Rainier, looking from northeast to southwest (towards DC). Route One is heavily traveled throughout the day, as it provides a link between such cities as Washington, DC and Hyattsville, College Park and eventually Baltimore.Route One also goes by other names such as Baltimore Avenue and Rhode Island Avenue.
