Welcome to the Mount Rainier, MD "community board" (listserv)!

You are just one step away from being a part of the life and thriving community of residents and businesses who live (and work) in historic Mount Rainier, Maryland and who are a part of this "virtual community" which we call a "Listserv."

A listserv is a wonderful communication tool that offers its members the opportunity to post suggestions or questions to a large number of people at the same time. When you submit a question or something that you want to share to the listserv, your submission is distributed to all of the members on that list.

In general, listserv members are encouraged to submit postings that are centered on Mount Rainier with some flexibility on surrounding municipalities. Topics have included discussions on "threads" such as loose dogs, crime statistics, Mount Rainier news, community concerns and suggestions for the city. Before submitting a query or a comment to the entire listserv group, monitor the discussions. After a few days, you'll be able to tell what are acceptable submissions.

So in order to be a part of this wonderful opportunity to share in the "e-life" of our community you will need to sign up to the listserv by simply entering your e-mail address below (the one where you will receive messages from the group) and click on the "Join Now!" button. Within a matter of days you will be able to post messages to the group as well as to receive them...enjoy!
